Proposal for Logo Design
to The Better World Group
1/13/15
After using a stock illustration as logo for their startup phase The Better World Group has expressed the need to create a their own proprietary logo and has reached out to The Noodle Shop for design services. BWG began this process in-house and after review of those designs has decided to seek outside services. This proposal sets out the methodology and stages of design and art production for the new BWG logo.
Phase I - Design Exploration
The Noodle Shop will create an initial presentation of various different design options for review by BWG. These rough, conceptual designs will explore ways to illustrate the planet as the major element as well as other non representative designs. After presentation and discussion with BWG one to two candidates will be selected for further design exploration and refinement. BWG may suggest additional concepts for exploration as well. If no candidate is selected for Phase II refinement TNS will submit one more round of rough concepts for a second presentation.
Phase II - Design Refinements
Based on selected candidates from Phase I, TNS will study font selection, sizing, color and shape of icon or illustration details for presentation. If two candidates have been selected from Phase !, one will be identified for additional refinement.
Phase III - Master Art
The selected "hero" design from Phase II may require additional refinement, once done master art files will be created in various file types for delivery to BWG. File types to include: Illustrator, EPS, PDF, JPG and PNG. Logo colors and fonts will be identified and included in master art files.
Design and Master Art Production Fee: $2500 to $3500
Timeline
Phase I: first presentation two weeks from approval of proposal and first half project payment. An additional week to two weeks may be required based on the results of Phase I presentation.
Phase II: One to two weeks based on Phase I selected concepts
Phase III: One to two weeks based on production requirements of selected logo concept. For example, a complex illustration may require more production time.
